Handle With Care

Love is… kind, passionate, patient, beautiful… all of these things. And no matter what adjectives we use to describe love, one theme seems to fit all of them. Love must be handled with care. Without it, relationships disappear, and what once was special is taken for granted.

Measuring 36″w x 34″h x 13″d, this aerial sculpture is 4236 pieces of glass, and is suspended on an acrylic canopy that measures 40″w x 16″ deep. Each piece of glass was cut by hand, then kiln-formed, hand-drilled and hand-strung. This is the very first heart sculpture in a series.
