The Mark Chandelier

This chandelier represents a new design in my portfolio of offerings. Custom-designed and -made for this space, it is intended to be a showpiece. Its colors were chosen to reflect the glorious shades found in the waters of Florida’s gulf coast. In addition to transparent glass, I used iridescent glass fairly liberally to mimic the sparkling waters and maximize reflection of the light. In all, more than 1700 individual pieces of glass were suspended over a canopy that measures 66″l x 22.5″w.
